The Perfect Conjunction

I close my eyes and sharpen my vision

and use my heart to make this decision,

pride is the eclipse of my soul,

all my veins lead to an empty hole

The perfect conjunction needs two to function;

in my vision I see perfection,

when I open my eyes to face reality

I see things in a different dimension

I have built my house on a land of earthquakes,

there are no neighbours here –

In the air I can smell only fear

I don’t know what to do,

open my eyes or follow my vision,

how can an empty hole

make the right decision?
